Services for groups

The guided tours through the Landtag of Brandenburg are closely linked to the work of the parliament and will focus on providing a greater better understanding of democracy and parliamentarianism. Outside plenary sessions

  • Introduction into the work of the parliament with or without an interview (in German) with members of parliament (Guided tour with informational lecture: approx. 60–120 minutes)

If lunch is requested, please inform us in time prior to your visit. Transportation and meal allowances may be granted upon request.

Services for individual visitors

The courtyard of the Landtag, the Knobelsdorff stairwell, the foyer including an interactive building model, the cafeteria, the restaurant of the Landtag and the roof terrace are open to the public on workdays without prior registration.

Guided tours for visitors

For individual visitors and small groups of up to 10 people, the Brandenburg Landtag offers guided tours of the Parliament Building that last for one hour. These generally take place on Fridays from 4.00 pm until 5.00 pm, but not on days on which plenary sittings take place. The guided tours can be booked online and up to 3 months in advance.

Attending the plenary sittings

Individual visitors can follow the plenary sittings from the visitors’ gallery in the plenary chamber. Booking a seat in good time in advance is required. On the plenary day itself, visitors who have not booked in advance will only be allowed to enter the gallery if there are any spare seats.

Attending committee meetings

With the exception of the petition committee, the committee meetings of the Landtag are generally open to the public. The responsible committee speakers will be pleased to accept enquiries from visitors who are interested in attending the committee meeti
