How to find us

The Landtag building is accessible through the Fortunaportal gate at the Alter Markt. Road and street signs show drivers from all directions the way to the Landtag Brandenburg. Parking is not available on the premises of the Landtag; buses stop outside the Film Museum on Breite Straße where they drop off and collect passengers. Due to the current construction work on the premises of the Landtag, the disabled parking spaces in front of the Potsdam Museum are currently unavailable. For this reason, holders of the blue disabled parking badge which is valid throughout Europe are able to park at the Alter Markt. In this respect, please prioritise using the area between the Nikolaikirche and the university building. The Alter Markt is accessible via the Am Alten Markt street. The Landtag is a 10 minute / 700 metre walk from Potsdam main railway station.

Access to the Parliament Building

The Parliament Building is closed on public holidays.

The provision of access to disabled visitors has been taken into account in all public areas, with accessible areas for wheelchairs, inductive loops for hearing aids, and orientation aids for partially sighted visitors.
